Strong technical knowledge of global platform and Java card APIs with the ability to interact with various stakeholders across the organization and the team members is required for success in this position.Areas of ResponsibilityShall be responsible for understanding all relevant technical specifications to define test scenariosShall be responsible for developing test suites and reusable libraries for Java Card and Global Platform complianceShall be responsible for test design, development and automation.Shall be responsible for failure analysis and reporting.Review of the generated system level verification reportsContinuously build knowhow and share with the team membersWork closely with Product Owners to understand the functional & non- functional requirements of smart card featuresShall assist the manager in effort estimation and technical risk identificationOn time quality deliveryProduct post release defectsCustomer SatisfactionQuality AuditsFeedback from team membersPosition Description (Part II)Interfaces: Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Team, CE, AEExperience:2-6 years of experience in qualifying smartcard products and systems with exposure to the entire SDLCShould have strong written and verbal communication skillsShall be responsible for design, development of tests based on the requirements and specifications/StandardsShall be responsible for failure analysis and identifying bugs.Prepare the Validation reportsOwnership in reviews – test code, design, validation plans / reports etc.,Ability to understand and manage requirementExcellent problem solving and test case design skills.Good expertise in C# or Java languageKnowledge of source control tools like Gerrit, Git, BitbucketNice to have knowledge:Knowledge in Java card programming is an added advantageKnowledge in Python scripting is an added advantageKnowledge in standards like 7816/14443/Global Platform/Java Card is an added advantageUnderstanding of the technical specifications related to smartcard OS and its applications.
