Job Title - QA Engineering LeadLocation - RemoteExperience - 7-10 YearsAbout the RoleYou will oversee the development of quality assurance frameworks, ensuring our product can handle large-scale user bases and enterprise-grade expectations without issues. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can architect scalable systems and drive quality initiatives.Key Outcomes (What Success Looks Like)Develop a data integrity testing system to ensure customer isolation and prevent cross-tenant data issues.Implement performance and load testing as part of the regular release cycle.Create visibility into quality metrics through dashboards and quality KPIs.Strengthen the QA team's technical capabilities and position the function for long-term scalability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead QA engineering and own product quality across releases.Design and maintain test automation systems across web, API, and performance.Partner with Engineering to embed quality gates into CI/CD.Define and measure key quality KPIs (defect leakage, automation coverage, test pass rate, etc.).Conduct performance, scalability, and load testing for core workflows.Qualifications7–10 years in QA for SaaS products, ideally B2B or multi-tenant systems.Proven experience in Ruby on Rails or similar backend-heavy environments.Deep experience in automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, or similar).Solid understanding of AWS, Postgres, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience setting up performance and load testing frameworks (e.g., JMeter, k6).Personality FitHands-on builder who thrives in ambiguity.System thinker — always looking for repeatable ways to eliminate errors.Prefers dashboards over SOPs; values speed and simplicity.Confident enough to challenge developers and advocate for quality.
