Automation Specialist PositionA proficient Automation Specialist is required to lead the implementation of test automation strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on API/UI automation using Java and Selenium.The selected individual will be responsible for creating automated test scripts, managing defect resolution, and ensuring seamless delivery in an agile methodology environment.Key qualifications include:Development of API/UI automated test scripts using Java and SeleniumHands-on experience in software development life cycle and defect management (SDLC)Delivery in agile environments (scrum, lean, etc.)Experience with test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Rally, or ADO)Setup and execution of tests through CI/CD pipelines, with knowledge of Azure DevOpsDatabase testing and experience with applications written in Java, C#, .Net, Angular, and Node.jsPostman, Rest APIs, or SoapUI for web service testingMaintenance of test automation frameworks (Hybrid/TDD/BDD) and proposing innovative solutions to overcome challengesAdditional benefits: exposure to Katalon, Parasoft, and Azure ADO, as well as code repository tools like GitHub or GitLabThis role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in automation testing and a strong background in software development life cycle.Responsibilities:Create and maintain automated test scriptsDevelop and implement test automation frameworksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunitiesAnalyze and resolve defects in a timely mannerStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologiesWe offer a competitive compensation package, including salary, bonuses, and benefits.
