SRA Coordinator

The SRA Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing and improving housing, sanitation, and infrastructure for slum dwellers. The role involves facilitating communication between hut holders, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, and supporting the successful implementation of rehabilitation projects.
Job Description :
Act as the primary point of contact between slum residents, government agencies and contractors.
Conduct regular meetings with community leaders, residents, and government officials to update on project progress and address concerns.
Engage with residents to educate and inform them about the rehabilitation process, their rights, and available resources.
Work with local communities to form housing societies, self-help groups, and committees to facilitate community participation.
Promote awareness of slum rehabilitation benefits and guide residents through documentation processes for housing allotments.
Oversee the legal aspects of the rehabilitation process, including documentation and registration of slum dwellers for housing allotments.
Maintain detailed records of all activities
Knowledge of housing policies, slum rehabilitation laws, and urban development frameworks.
Empathy towards underprivileged communities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations.
Education: Any Graduate
Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in community development, slum rehabilitation preferably in a coordinating role.
