Senior Data Scientist Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our analytics group, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven insights and recommendations.This is a remote job position that requires a strong analytical mindset and exceptional problem-solving skills. You will have the opportunity to work with large datasets, develop predictive models, and create data visualizations to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop advanced predictive models using machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into business decision-making processes.Requirements:5+ years of experience in data science or a related field.Strong hands-on experience with PySpark and Databricks data processing and modelling.Solid foundation in Regression modelling, statistical analysis, and model performance evaluation.Proficiency in Excel for quick analytical checks, and PowerPoint for developing clear, executive-friendly insights and presentations.Bonus Requirements:Exposure to pricing analytics or revenue management models (elasticity, discount simulations, price optimization).Fluency in retail domain terminologies and an understanding of business KPIs.Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.About Us:We are a dynamic and innovative company that values data-driven decision making.
