Date Posted: Country:IndiaLocation:North Gate Business Park Sy.No 2/1, and Sy.No 2/2, KIAL Road, Venkatala Village, Chowdeshwari Layout, Yelahanka, Bangalore, Karnataka Position Role Type:UnspecifiedJob Overview:This opportunity is for a Software Engineer who is eager to share their talents with the Surveillance team. The individual will be responsible for performing development and verification of different protocols and applications such as ACAS, XDR, ADSB-In, Traffic Apps, IO, Maintenance, OMS, Dataload and core modules.Roles and Responsibilities:You will verify Avionics DAL B products in CNS Domain.You will develop common supporting tools necessary for the development/Verification.You will execute unit, integration, and system-level tests for embedded surveillance softwareYou will develop validation tests.You will participate in peer reviews of requirements, design, and code to ensure high software quality.You will support software audits and reviews by certification authoritiesYou will document test results, raise anomalies, and ensure timely resolution of software issues.You will get to work with amazing architects and senior developers to create scalable, extensible, and sustainable solutions.You will build CI/CD pipelines, works with Dev-OPS team, for streamlined and effective deployments.You will troubleshoot build issues and support deployments.Basic Qualifications:B.Tech/M.Tech with Understanding of Avionics Systems/Software Architecture – CNS, FMS, FCS or Displays.Strong proficiency in C++, Wind River OS, and Python with independent developer experience.Solid background in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): requirements, design, coding, integration, and verification with exposure to DO-178C.Core expertise in V&V, SCA, debugging, troubleshooting, White-box, and unit/integration/verification testing.Experience with hardware–software integration and board-level debugging.Hands-on with tools: PyATE, RapiTest, Git.4-6 Years of Avionics ExperienceExperience working on Agile MethodologyAbout Collins Aerospace:Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
