Cloud Solution ArchitectThe Cloud Solution Architect will be part of the EDP Data Platform team for a major client. They will work with different stakeholders to design and build an EDP application platform to support client's internal data teams in onboarding and provisioning data in cloud.The application will be built using microservices architecture to support different workloads like data marts, data warehouse, AI/ML. The architect will participate actively in brainstorming sessions for improvement opportunities and take them to completion.A suitable candidate should have 4+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level applications and possess a go-getter attitude. They should be able to deal with ambiguity.Key Responsibilities & Skillsets:Superior analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and prepare client-ready deliverables with minimal supervisionGood communication skills for client interactionApplication development skill sets include:Designing, implementation, and testing of Python applications with understanding of object-oriented programming, multi-tier architecture, parallel/multi-threaded programmingProgramming experience with Python is a must; Java/Scala is a nice-to-haveExperience with AWS technologies including AppSync, Lambda, Step Functions, Event BridgeSolid experience of AWS services such as CloudFormation, S3, Glue, EMR/Spark, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, KMS, SM etc.Knowledge of modern cloud-native data warehouses i.e., AWS Redshift, Snowflake or Azure Synapse AnalyticsExperience implementing metadata solutions leveraging AWS non-relational data solutions such as ElastiCache and DynamoDBWorking experience with Python, and Spark is desired Experience working on Agile projectsAWS Solutions Architect or AWS Big Data Certification preferredWhy this role?This is a challenging opportunity for someone who wants to shape the future of data platforms in a large-scale insurance company.
