Job Title: Data Analyst - ForecastingRole OverviewWe are seeking a professional to drive demand planning and forecasting initiatives across multiple regions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and improve machine learning models for demand planning and forecasting globally, ensuring accuracy and consistency within 2 main platforms used today (SAP IBP and o9).Understand and capture multi-regional business needs to design scalable forecasting solutions.Provide data-driven insights to improve forecast accuracy, reduce bias, and optimize inventory planning as well as drive adoption and process maturity.Establish and monitor KPIs for forecasting performance, ensuring continuous improvement.Collaborate with regional teams to standardize forecasting, and promote best practices.Support automation and touchless opportunities in demand planning processes using data science and analytics techniques.Conduct root cause analysis for forecast deviations and implement corrective actions.Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders at all levels to drive decisions and actions.Drive capability building across regions on forecasting methodologies and analytics tools.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong background in demand planning, forecasting, and statistical modeling.Working knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and visualization platforms.Ability to interpret data and translate insights into business recommendations.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience in multi-country or regional planning environments is a plus.
