Experience: 10 years in Potato seed or commercial production or in quality assurance

Competencies:
Master’s degree in agriculture, horticulture or botany
Minimum 10 years’ experience in QA / production
Minimum 2 years of People Managerial experience.
Operating and Capital expenditures planning and execution
Mobility – national & international.
People development planning

Job Description:
Lead a team of quality executives to realize best quality commercial potato’s through random field and cold storage inspections, conducting processes audits and adding value to business in terms of reducing rejections and rework.

Job Objective:
Manages Quality Assurance function in HyFarm designated potato commercial production locations to enable best quality raw potato.
Enforce the changes in production processes to improve quality management systems.
Accountable for timely inward seed sampling, testing and reporting
Establish potato quality monitoring protocols in cold storages
As a people manager, plans the knowledge and skill developments of team members and prepare to handle future challenges in field quality
Timely sampling, testing and reporting of results to stakeholders and production growers.
Plan & executive operational and capital budget with accuracy.
