Are you a seasoned professional in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) with a passion for designing, optimizing, and managing cutting-edge solutions? We're looking for a Lead VDI Architect and Operations to join our team and take charge of our VDI environment, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and security.
About the Role:
In this critical role, you'll be responsible for designing VDI solutions, collaborating with cross-functional IT teams, and overseeing day-to-day operations to provide seamless support for our global customers. You'll also serve as a mentor and guide, driving standards and best practices for VDI deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement VDI solutions tailored to organizational needs.
- Monitor and optimize VDI performance and security.
- Lead VDI projects and develop best practices for deployments.
- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and integrate new technologies.
- Provide 24x7 support in a shared model for global customers.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in VDI architecture and operations.
- Expertise in technologies like VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Azure VDI.
- Hands-on experience in networking, storage, and virtualization.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Industry certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Citrix Certified Professional) are a plus.
Desired Expertise:
- Citrix Administration (XenApp & XenDesktop) with PVS & MCS.
- Citrix Netscaler and Citrix Cloud.
- VMware Horizon View Administration.
- ITIL knowledge.
