We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the development of complex data strategies and solutions.Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in data architecture and 6+ years of expertise in Snowflake, with a strong track record of translating complex business challenges into clear and scalable solutions.This role requires a rare blend of deep technical expertise and proven thought leadership. You will be responsible for defining target state architectures for large-scale data migrations from legacy systems to Snowflake, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and security best practices.You will also design and enforce data governance frameworks within Snowflake to meet stringent regulatory requirements, using features like Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Dynamic Data Masking, and External Tokenization.The successful candidate will lead the adoption and application of emerging technologies such as Snowpark, Snowpipe Streaming, and the Native Application Framework, driving advanced financial analytics, AI/ML, and data monetization strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Articulation: Serve as the lead technical consultant, articulating complex banking business challenges into clear and actionable plans.Architecture Design: Define target state architectures for large-scale data migrations from legacy systems to Snowflake.Security & Compliance: Design and enforce data governance frameworks within Snowflake.Emerging Tech: Lead the adoption and application of emerging technologies such as Snowpark, Snowpipe Streaming, and the Native Application Framework.Community Leadership & Thought EvangelismPublic Speaker: Represent the company as a keynote or track speaker at global data events, focusing on innovative BFSI use cases.Content Creation: Author high-impact technical white papers, blogs, and reference architectures that establish expertise in financial data modernization.Mentorship: Mentor and train the next generation of internal architects and engineers.Pre-Sales Support: Provide expert guidance and build trust with strategic clients.Key Competencies:Executive Presence: Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to both C-level executives and hands-on engineering teams.Advisory Acumen: Proven ability to listen to a customer's business problem and immediately map it to a feasible solution.Consultative Approach: Track record of guiding customers through organizational, process, and technology change related to cloud adoption.In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success and contribute to the growth of the data practice.
