Mechanical Project Lead Job Description:We are seeking a senior engineer to support global projects in India. The role involves field supervision, training, manufacturing, quality inspection, project coordination, and customer/supplier interaction.Deliver multiple onsite projects as a senior engineer or sub-project manager, ensuring timely completion within specifications.Identify high-risk tasks, drive resolution, and analyze project specifications to develop work schedules and delegate tasks.Ensure adherence to engineering and manufacturing processes with sub-suppliers and contractors.Supervise staff, suggest improvements, collaborate on instructional materials, and interpret complex drawings.Troubleshoot complex problems, conduct research, and network with professionals.Liaise with clients, write reports, schedule meetings, and provide training sessions when necessary.Key Responsibilities:Project delivery: Deliver multiple onsite projects within specifications.Task management: Identify high-risk tasks, drive resolution, and analyze project specifications.Quality assurance: Ensure adherence to engineering and manufacturing processes.Team leadership: Supervise staff, suggest improvements, and collaborate on instructional materials.Requirements:Diploma or Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology.Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising medium to high complexity field projects.Knowledge of manufacturing methodologies, metallurgy, fabrication, inspection, and international standards.Familiarity with Autocad or MDT, PLCs, and automation software.Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
