About the RoleWe are looking for a Product Manager / Product Owner to lead our Reference Data Product, which powers accurate, normalized data extraction across credit agreements, amendments, side letters, and borrower communications.This role blends domain expertise in private credit / GP-side operations with strong product ownership, taxonomy design, and HITL + agentic automation. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of how reference data is defined, captured, validated, and delivered to our clients.The ideal candidate is structured, detail-oriented, fluent in both business and technical conversations, and passionate about building workflows that scale.Key Responsibilities1. Business Analysis & Client/Domain Understanding• Intake and analyze new Reference Data (REF Data) requests from clients.• Map client intent into our structured taxonomy-driven data model.• Create clear documentation including BRDs, FRDs, data dictionaries, and mapping specifications.• Define and execute UAT cycles – scope, test cases, pass/fail criteria, stakeholder sign-off.2. Product Ownership (Backlog & Delivery)• Own and manage the REF Data product backlog with transparent prioritization and effort estimates.• Write high-quality user stories with acceptance criteria and ensure readiness for development.• Lead sprint planning, work closely with engineering, and manage delivery through release.• Track releases, ensure smooth rollout, and close feedback loops with stakeholders.3. SME & Quality Leadership (Taxonomy, Accuracy, Workflows)• Own and evolve the Reference Data taxonomy for consistency, coverage, and scalability.• Collaborate with QA to define accuracy, coverage, and TAT dashboards and quality checklists.• Identify where Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) adds most value and design interventions.• Drive continuous improvements in data reliability, normalization standards, and workflow repeatability.• Ensure all workflows are repeatable, scalable, and aligned with multi-client delivery.Required Skills & Experience• 5–10 years of experience as Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst, ideally in:o Private Credit / GP operationso Reference data, document parsing, or data normalization workflowso Taxonomy design or structured data products• Strong expertise in writing BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans.• Experience with UAT, backlog management, and agile delivery practices.• Ability to work with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, domain, client).• Detail-oriented, structured thinker with strong analytical and documentation skills.• Exposure to HITL systems, automation, LLM-based workflows, or agentic processes is a plus.Preferred• Prior experience working with credit agreements, amendments, or loan notices.• Experience designing or evolving taxonomies or structured reference data models.• Understanding of data validation, data quality frameworks, or QA collaboration.Who We Are- envisions a dynamic future for the financial world, where innovation is propelled by state-of-the-art AI technology and enriched by a profound understanding of credit and fixed-income research.
