Project Director - Data Center OperationsThe Project Director will oversee the project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and effective stakeholder management.They will develop a comprehensive project plan, engage stakeholders, and maintain a draft project execution schedule.The Project Director will provide strategic input for activity sequencing, guide the project planning manager, and finalize the master project schedule.They will establish high-level budgets, define unit rates, and regularly update cost databases.The Project Director will lead the tendering process, analyze tender documents, and advise clients on tender clarifications.They will evaluate technical submissions, conduct vendor/supplier evaluations, and take ownership of the tender event schedule.The Project Director will plan for value engineering workshops, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and guide the planning and design management teams.They will collaborate with team members, actively participate in risk management, and work closely with clients' teams through regular information exchange.The Project Director will conduct site visits, resolve RFIs, ensure design intent during construction, and provide support to respective teams during factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).They will develop a detailed change management process, review changes, and ensure updates are included in periodic reports to the client.The Project Director will ensure a draft contract is prepared, study and prepare responses to queries, and support the clients' team in case of legal issues or arbitrations.They will coordinate with design, contractor, and vendor/supplier teams for timely closure of their scope, support project teams in developing a detailed handover document, and coordinate with all stakeholders to capture lessons learned.
