Job Title: Windows Infrastructure SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Windows Server & Hosting Support Engineer to join our cloud hosting operations team. The ideal candidate will manage, support, and troubleshoot Windows-based environments used for QuickBooks (QB) hosting, TR hosting, and other application hosting workloads.About the Role:Manage Windows Server Environments:Responsibilities include managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.Configure and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user/session management.Administer and optimize Remote Desktop Services (RDS) multi-user environments.Perform server hardening, updates, and ongoing system performance monitoring.Manage file permissions, shares, profiles, and storage allocations.Hosting Support:Provide application hosting support for QuickBooks Desktop and Thomson Reuters software in a multi-tenant environment.Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot hosted applications.Handle user access issues, session problems, printing issues, mapping drives, and performance complaints.Coordinate with application vendors when needed for escalated issues.Client Support:Serve as a primary technical contact for hosting clients.Troubleshoot remote user connectivity issues including RDP/SSL/VPN.Provide timely and professional communication across email, tickets, and calls.Assist with user onboarding, environment setup, and migration tasks.Cloud Hosting & Operations:Monitor system health, uptime, CPU/RAM usage, and resource allocation.Assist in provisioning new servers, scaling resources, and maintaining high availability.Participate in backup verification, disaster recovery testing, and security compliance routines.Document environment changes, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
