Job Overview:
Ridhira Living Pvt. Ltd., a pioneer in creating luxurious and sustainable living spaces, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Lead with a background in hospitality or real estate. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing procurement activities, vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices to support the company’s mission of developing premium, eco-friendly living spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:
Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers for various materials required for projects.
Develop procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of materials.
Ensure materials meet quality standards and are delivered within specified timeframes.
Vendor Relationship and Contract Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
Ensure vendors adhere to contract terms, performance expectations, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Value Engineering:
Lead value engineering initiatives to reduce material costs without compromising quality or project timelines.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in material selection and procurement processes.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring all purchases align with project budgets and company financial goals.
Track material costs and implement cost-saving strategies where possible.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement contracts.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure seamless material procurement.
Prepare and present procurement performance reports, highlighting savings, vendor performance, and any procurement challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction, real estate, or manufacturing industries.
Proven experience in value engineering and driving cost reductions without compromising quality.
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract drafting skills.
Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems is an advantage.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Skills Required:
Expertise in procurement of materials, especially for large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of contract law, terms, and procurement best practices.
Analytical skills to assess material requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Proficiency in value engineering methodologies.
Experience in handling vendor performance issues and implementing improvement plans.
