Senior Database Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our database-driven applications development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, secure, and reliable database systems.Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.Develop and maintain applications using Oracle Forms & Reports.Enhance existing applications and troubleshoot production issues effectively.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop backend components and support integration using Java where required.Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.Ensure data integrity, application security, and compliance.Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation activities.Support deployment and post-production activities.Required Skills and Qualifications:4–7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.Strong experience in Oracle Forms & Reports.Good knowledge of Core Java (for integration or backend support).Solid understanding of relational database concepts, performance tuning, and SQL optimization.Experience with Oracle 10g/11g/12c environments.Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
