Senior Professional – Data Science (Hybrid) Location: Bengaluru Experience: 4–6+ Years Notice Period: 30–45 Days (Max 60 Days) Work Mode: Hybrid (2–3 days/week office) Target CTC: ₹22–25 LPA (flexible within band based on experience) About the Role We are seeking a results-focused Data Science Professional to design, build, and scale analytical solutions across Insurance, Finance, and Risk platforms for a global product suite . In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams to identify high-impact business problems, build predictive models, and translate insights into meaningful business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Diagnose model performance issues; research, test, and implement alternative approaches; prepare supporting analyses; and deploy improved solutions. Conduct complex statistical analyses on real estate, mortgage, and insurance-related datasets. Apply machine learning and data mining techniques to identify patterns from large and complex data sources. Build forecasts and predictive models based on economic, behavioral, and other relevant factors. Prepare, maintain, and document programs, modeling scripts, and analytical processes. Perform modeling and analysis using various data mining, machine learning, statistical, and mathematical methodologies. Drive the re-engineering and enhancement of current production models and prototype solutions as needed. Lead and independently manage quantitative and qualitative research projects end-to-end. Assess, interpret, and communicate research findings to internal stakeholders. Understand business requirements and conceptualize analytical solutions tailored to address those needs. Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams to research, define, and implement scalable analytic solutions across the organization. Troubleshoot a wide range of complex analytical and modeling problems and drive them to resolution. Research and evaluate emerging GenAI best practices, and apply relevant solutions to new or evolving business challenges. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of industry or academic experience applying AI/ML techniques, data mining, statistical modeling, and/or pattern recognition on real-world problems. Experience or familiarity with network analysis and graph theory is a plus. Hands-on experience building and maintaining models in a cloud environment . Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, R, C++, Scala . Strong big data expertise with tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive , etc. Experience integrating Generative AI (GenAI) into production environments is a plus. Strong team player; willing to assist and jump into projects at any stage as needed. Detail-oriented with strong presentation skills and prior experience interacting with clients. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with key stakeholders, and explain business requirements to technical teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Capable of effectively presenting analytical insights and modeling techniques to internal and external audiences.
