Tekion employs close to 3,000 people across North America, Asia and Europe.Key Responsibilities:- Design and architect scalable backend solutions to support complex business workflows and high-volume systems- Leverage AI tools effectively for coding, documentation, and design- Use AI to generate HLD and LLD documents and validate AI-generated recommendations.- Utilize AI tools to generate and review code, ensuring accuracy and maintainability.- Apply AI for faster prototyping, solution evaluation, and improving engineering productivity.- Own end-to-end delivery of components and subsystems—including design, development, testing, integration, deployment, and enhancements.- Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable Java code and take full responsibility for assigned tasks.- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize backend systems.- Mentor junior engineers, guide them on best practices, and uphold high engineering standards.- Collaborate closely with Product, QA, UI/UX, and Management teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule.- Ensure delivery excellence in a fast-paced, startup environment with a strong focus on quality and timelines.Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor/Master's in computer science or relevant fields- 10+ years of relevant experience- Strong sense of ownership- Excellent Java and object-oriented development skills- Experience working on AI Tools like Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer,claudeAI, CodeGeeX, Tabnine, MutableAI, Codacy ectc... for code review & code generation.- LLM's hands-on for Solution or integration experience- Experience in building and scaling microservices- Strong problem-solving skills, technical troubleshooting and diagnosing- Expected to be a role model for young engineers, have a strong sense of code quality and enforce code- Quality within the team- Strong knowledge in RDBMS and NoSql technologies- Experience in developing for enterprise systems like eCommerce / manufacturing / supply chain etc- Excellent understanding of Debugging performance and optimization techniques- Experience in Java, Mongo, MySQL, AWS technologies, ELK stack, Spring boot, Kafka- Experience in developing any large scale Experience in cloud technologies- Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
