Job DescriptionAs a Senior Cloud Solution Designer, you will be responsible for designing and deploying secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based solutions for clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and architect cost-effective solutions that align with their goals.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of cloud solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to design architecture patterns using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.Key responsibilities include:Designing and architecting cloud-based solutions that meet client requirements.Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs and translating them into technical requirements and solution designs.Assessing existing infrastructure and systems, identifying opportunities for migration or adoption of cloud services, and creating migration plans.Developing highly available and fault-tolerant architecture patterns using cloud services.Creating technical documentation including solution architecture diagrams, design documents, and deployment guides.Conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance to development teams to ensure adherence to cloud best practices and standards.Implementing and configuring cloud services, infrastructure automation, and orchestration using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.Monitoring and optimizing cloud resources and services, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvements.Collaborating with operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing management of cloud solutions.Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have:Proven experience as an AWS Solutions Architect or similar role, designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.Strong understanding of AWS services and experience with core services like EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Route 53, Lambda, and CloudFront.Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and provisioning tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrators like Kubernetes.Strong knowledge of network and security concepts within the cloud, including IAM, Security Groups, VPC peering, and VPN.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.BenefitsThis role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud projects and collaborate with a team of experienced professionals.
