We are defining the future of wardrobe staples and luxury accessories for the modern man.Location:Indore, Madhya Pradesh (Full-Time, On-site)The Role:We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior/Assistant Fashion Designer to provide creative and technical support to the Head Designer across our Men's Textile Apparel and Leather Goods collections. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring designer to gain hands-on experience in a luxury brand environment, working with high-quality fabrics and leather.Key Responsibilities:Design Support & Execution * Assist the Head Designer in developing mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal concept presentations. * Create detailed technical drawings (flats) and specifications for both apparel (shirting, outerwear, trousers) and leather goods (bags, wallets) using Adobe Illustrator. * Prepare design boards and layouts for internal review and presentations. * Organize and maintain the digital library of designs, patterns, and technical specifications.Technical & Sample Development * Support the technical design process by preparing spec sheets and measurement tables for factories. * Assist in the sourcing and selection of fabrics, leather materials, trims, and hardware, ensuring they align with brand quality standards. * Coordinate with the pattern masters and sampling units to track the development and fitting of prototypes. * Document changes, manage revisions, and update all design files throughout the product development cycle.Research & Administration * Conduct market research and trend analysis on competitor collections, materials, and luxury industry innovations. * Provide administrative support to the design team, including organizing samples, preparing materials for meetings, and managing daily design flow.Required Qualifications * Experience: 1–2 years of experience in fashion design, product development, or a related role. Experience with both apparel and accessories is a strong advantage. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (essential for flats) and Photoshop. Basic knowledge of garment construction, pattern reading, and material characteristics (textiles and leather). * Attributes: Highly organized, meticulous attention to detail, proactive, and a strong willingness to learn new technical skills. * Aesthetic: A clean, minimalist design sensibility that aligns with the TZÁR aesthetic. * Location: Willingness to work full-time from our office in Indore.Why Join TZÁR?You will receive direct mentorship from a seasoned Head Designer and gain cross-functional experience crucial for a career in luxury fashion.
