Senior ETL Developer Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Migration Specialist to join our team.To ensure the successful integration and mapping of customer data from various source systems, you will use strong technical skills in data migration, scripting, and organizational techniques.You will perform extract, transform, load (ETL) activities to guarantee accurate and timely data conversions.Your in-depth research and analysis of complex scenarios will enable you to develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to project governance principles.You will be responsible for mapping and maintaining business requirements to the solution design using tools such as requirements traceability matrices (RTM).Present your findings, requirements, and problem statements to stakeholders and working groups for ratification.You will identify and document data gaps to facilitate change impact and downstream impact analysis.Qualifications:A minimum of 6 years of experience assessing data and analytic requirements to establish mapping rules from source to target systems to achieve business objectives.Familiarity with real-time, batch, and ETL for complex data conversions.Working knowledge of extract, transform, load (ETL) methodologies and tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Abinitio, Dell Boomi, etc.You will utilize data mapping tools to prepare data for data loads based on target system specifications.Experience with various data applications/systems such as Oracle SQL, Excel, .csv files, etc.Strong SQL scripting experience is essential.PL/SQL experience is also required.Effective communication with clients and/or Project Manager to scope, develop, test, and implement conversion/integration.Collaboration with Project Managers and customers to keep projects on track.Driving improvements in the data migration process.Collaboration via phone and email with clients and/or Project Manager throughout the conversion/integration process.Demonstrated collaboration and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including, but not limited to: Agile, Waterfall, and others.A clear understanding of cloud and application integrations.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ensuring client's data is converted/integrated accurately and within deadlines established by Project Manager.Experience in customer SIT, UAT, migration, and go live support.
