Job Title: Infrastructure SpecialistOverview of the Role:Overseeing and scaling our observability platform.Key Responsibilities:Deployment, upgrades, maintenance, and performance optimization of Grafana platforms.Setup of Grafana using open-source components and best practices.Onboarding and guiding clients through observability workflows.Implementation and management of OpenTelemetry and collector pipelines.Extensive work with Loki, Tempo, and Mimir for logs, traces, and metrics.Creation, customization, and refinement of Grafana dashboards for engineering and business teams.Configuration of data source connections: Prometheus, Loki, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, CloudWatch, etc.Transformation of raw telemetry into clear visualizations.Creation and maintenance of alert rules, notification channels, and escalation paths.Management of alert thresholds to reduce alert fatigue and improve reliability.Setup and optimization of Alertmanager for incident detection.Participation in incident response, recovery steps, and post-incident analysis.
