The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, have worked on cloud-native technologies, and have a willingness to learn new technologies.Roles and Responsibilities:Own the implementation of critical components, cloud-native products, and services for our Kubernetes product ecosystem.Mentor engineers and provide guidance on best practices, code quality, and system architecture.Contribute your deep technical knowledge to drive innovation and continuously evolve the product architecture.Collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap.Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.Continuously monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our product line.Preferred Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.Experience with programming in Python or Golang.9-15 years of experience in a software development role.Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and network protocols.Strong and deep knowledge of Storage systems.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.Familiarity with Kubernetes and virtualization technologies like Openstack is a plus.To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a team player with a strong sense of ownership for your work and a passion for working in a data-driven organization.
