Key Neurology Position AvailableA leading healthcare institution in the Caribbean is seeking an experienced Neurologist to join its expanding clinical team.Job OverviewThe role involves providing comprehensive neurological assessment, diagnosis, and management for adult patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. This includes stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, and headache disorders.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and manage neurological conditions through accurate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.Lead inpatient, outpatient, and emergency neurology services, overseeing stroke management and multidisciplinary rehabilitation planning.Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures, ensuring accurate results and informed decision-making.Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other clinicians for integrated patient care, promoting a seamless and efficient treatment process.Develop and implement treatment protocols aligned with current best practices, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in neurology.Train and mentor medical staff and residents in neurological care, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development.Maintain accurate documentation, adhering to hospital quality standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.QualificationsMD / DM / DNB / MS in Neurology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in neurology principles and practices.Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience, showcasing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions.Valid medical license to practice (or eligibility for licensing in the Caribbean), enabling independent practice and contributing to the team's clinical expertise.Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills in neurology, supported by ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying current in the field.
