The role of the Training and Development Manager is pivotal in propelling scientific research and education forward. This position is accountable for spearheading the design and delivery of impactful learning programs across our global organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesTo design and deliver comprehensive training programs from conception to implementation, achieving measurable enhancements in performance and productivity through data-driven insights and analytics.Develop engaging training content for e-learning, virtual, and live sessions, incorporating clear learning objectives and quantifiable outcomes to ensure participant understanding and retention.Analyze skill gaps and business priorities to create targeted learning interventions that address performance barriers and drive strategic alignment.Establish and maintain post-training evaluations and reinforcement micro-learnings to guarantee knowledge retention and on-the-job application, leading to improved time-to-perform, new hire ramp-up time, training completion rates, and measurable performance enhancements.Promote and scale career development pathways that expedite internal mobility and strengthen leadership and functional talent pipelines, driving business impact and capability building.Collaborate with business leaders to ensure all learning initiatives are strategically aligned with department goals, driving business results and capability building.Required Skills and QualificationsProven expertise in training program design and delivery, including adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build strong relationships.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other technology-enabled learning platforms.A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, instructional design, or organizational development.BenefitsThis role offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $100,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
