Job OpportunityWe seek an experienced contractor to assist with the implementation of a Workforce Management system in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of PeopleSoft experience and be willing to work in Chennai.The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, testing, and delivering processes to extract staff demographic data, load historical data from a SQL Server database to PeopleSoft, and enable workflow in certain areas of the system.The successful candidate will also be expected to produce high-quality technical specifications, prepare technical documents, and conduct peer reviews on code and test cases.In addition, the Senior Developer will need to communicate proactively with other team members and participate in status meetings to highlight issues and constraints that may impact timely delivery.RequirementsBachelor or Master degree+8 years of IT experience+5 years relevant experience in building PeopleSoft systems using PeopleSoft and Database technologiesExcellent knowledge of PeopleTools, Peoplesoft Application Designer, Peoplecode, SQR, and overall excellent technical skills on the Peoplesoft Development platformExpertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle platformExpertise in SQR programming for producing complex reports and batch processesExpertise with Peoplesoft Mobile / Fluid technologiesPeoplesoft Workflow knowledge expected and working knowledge desirableSufficient knowledge and working experience with rule-based systemsKnowledge of Peoplesoft HR table infrastructureProven and demonstrated experience in full system development life cycle – Analysis, Design, Programming, Testing, Implementation, and MaintenanceSound understanding of and implementation experience with issue tracking, and source code repository
