Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Junior Textile Designer. The Junior Textile Designer will create innovative textile designs for various home furnishings, including embroidery and printed patterns. Day-to-day tasks include sketching designs, producing fabric samples, collaborating with the design & sales team, and ensuring the quality and consistency of products. Additionally, the designer will assist in trend analysis and presentation of new concepts to clients and stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Skills in Embroidery and Textile Prints
  • Proficiency in Graphics and Graphic Design
  • Basic Knowledge of Textiles and fabric types
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, or a related field
  • Experience with design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a must
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach


Interview Process:

  • Initial Application Review: Resumes and portfolios will be carefully reviewed based on the qualifications and demonstrated passion for textile design.
  • First Round Interview (In-Person): Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an initial interview with a member of our design team or HR to discuss their background, design interests, and portfolio in more detail.
  • Portfolio Review and Design Exercise: Candidates progressing to the next stage may be asked to present their portfolio in detail and/or complete a small design-related task to assess their creative and technical skills.
  • Final Interview (In-Person): Final candidates will meet with senior members of the design team or management for a more in-depth discussion about their suitability for the role and company culture.
  • Offer: Successful candidates will receive an offer of employment.
