Enterprise API Strategist OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Enterprise API Strategist to design, implement and operate our AI API platform.API Development: Design and build APIs using IBM API Connect, DataPower gateways or equivalent API management platforms.API Governance: Define governance policies including authentication/authorization (OAuth2, API-key, JWT), rate limits, quotas, versioning and lifecycle management.API Gateway Management: Manage the API gateway for routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and traffic control.Developer Portal: Set up and maintain the developer portal for publishing APIs, onboarding internal/external consumers, documentation and self-service subscription.Performance Monitoring: Monitor API usage, performance, latency and error metrics; analyze usage patterns and production issues.Security and Resilience: Handle API security and resilience including secure back-end integrations, payload validation, threat mitigation and high-availability.Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services like API Gateway, S3 and EKS.Stay up-to-date with emerging protocols (GraphQL, WebSockets) and evolving IBM tool capabilities.
