Requirements :

  • Database Expertise: Support development with Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Backups and Restores: Manage manual and automated backups and restores.
  • Database Management: Design, implement, and manage databases in multiple environments.
  • Data Migrations: Plan and execute data migrations, including scripting and validation.
  • Script Development: Write and maintain scripts for database-related tasks.
  • Integration Support: Develop and maintain third-party interfaces and external data connections.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee database performance, apply patches, and manage updates.
  • Data Security: Maintain high data availability and security standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with developers and system administrators to optimize performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain and create documentation for processes and configuration


Qualifications :

  • Database Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
  • SQL Skills: Advanced SQL and PL/SQL knowledge for complex queries and scripts.
  • Data Migration: Experience with ETL processes and database design.
  • Scripting: Familiarity with automation tools like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Integration: Experience with third-party application connections.
  • Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with J2EE architecture, cloud databases (AWS/Azure), reporting tools, and containerization (Docker).
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Experience Required: 4-10 years as a DBA
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
