Job Title: Senior Go (Golang) Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Go (Golang) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient Go-based applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of complex software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability in our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Go-based applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and DevOps, to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Go-based APIs, microservices, and distributed systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and providing feedback to improve code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with the team to identify and implement solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Go language features, tools, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes.
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new features, technologies, and tools, and provide input on architectural decisions.
  • Work closely with the team to identify and prioritize technical debt, and develop plans to address it.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including code comments, API documentation, and technical guides.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Go (Golang) programming.
  • Proficiency in Go (Golang) programming language, including its syntax, semantics, and ecosystem.
  • Experience with Go frameworks and libraries, such as Revel, Gin, and Gorilla.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, such as GoTest and Mocking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring.
