IT System Analyst

Job DescriptionIT Systems Analyst IT system analyst provides support, implementation, and designservices for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise, includingdirectory and file server solutions. Resolves and appropriately completes assigned cases and changerequests and acts as an escalation for support issues. Applies new solutions through research andcollaboration with team and determines course of action for new application initiatives. Implements newsoftware solutions as required by the business. The core infrastructure technology duties includeenterprise Microsoft Active Directory and Windows file services architecture design, Implementation,management, global system security and policy configuration, and top-level support for enterprise-wideinitiatives.This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Active Directory, File service, Federation, Windows Server2012 R2/2016/2019/2022/2025 Windows 10 Windows security, Distributed File System, CertificateService, Windows cluster, and related technology.Key Responsibilities:Produce enterprise-level designs for Active Directory and Windows File Service to the users.Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible.Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate Identity Managementenvironment.Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance anddirection in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or systemproblems.User, OU, and other AD resource maintenance as per the IT policies.Installing, configuring ,troubleshooting and managing Windows,RODC, File server,DNS,DHCPenvironment.Serves as the first line of escalation support for domain technology.Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all Active Directoryrelated servers and resources, system, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs,and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardwaresystems within company operational guidelines.Basic Ideas of Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS and Google cloud and office365 including AzureEntra ID.Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation,configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existingsolutions or documentation.Provide training as required.Ticket based end user end user support.Email security management and user support.Preferred Skills/Experience:Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows FileServices, and Group Policies.Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) and GPOs.Expert knowledge of AD, PKI, Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019/2022/2025/win10/Win11Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, DFS, in Windows 2012 R2/Windows 2016/2019/2022/2025landscape.Deep knowledge of PowerShell and scripting.Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online and Azure Entra IDExtensive knowledge in infrastructure and server theories, principles, and concepts; applicationinfrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; Physical Server architecture;Virtualization Technologies (e.g. Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN networktechnologies.Develops, documents, and enforces the standards, security procedures, and controls for access toensure integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, and related systems.Knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Security feature with focus areas including AD Connectwith Single sign on, Conditional Access, Intune, MFA, Automatic Data Classification & InformationProtection and Threat Analytics are preferable.Professional Skills/Experience:Minimum 2-3 years overall IT experience with 3-4 years of experience working with MicrosoftIdentity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies.Must show a progressive advancement in responsibility including deep troubleshooting technicalskills.Must understand how to identify and install industry best practices.Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users.Desired experience working in a fast-paced IT environment with a career track record ofengineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining business critical systems in technical expertiseincluding hands on solution development and implementation experience.Team Player with communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills.
