We are seeking a hands-on
Consulting Member of Technical Staff
that shares our passion and excitement of developing and operating distributed systems using cloud native best practices. You will have part in the disruption of the health care industry and will help deliver a better patient experience.
Job Description
As an engineer in our team, you’ll be responsible for leading efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support Revenue Cycle Front Office modernization & Internationalization.
We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor and empower other engineers. As a technology leader you will be responsible for the design of complex initiatives that would require driving impact by influencing other engineers and leaders across organizational boundaries - both within and outside of our VP’s organization, and for the assigned development initiatives own SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production rollout.
Minimum QualificationsBe/BTech/BS or ME/MTech/MS degree in computer science, or equivalent.13+ years of experience developing and shipping cloud native Software as a service (SaaS) products.Strong experience architecting multi-tenant system(s) in a cloud-native environment using Java and Oracle database.Demonstrated ability to define and influence full system architecture. Ability to create high quality design documents and effectively communicate technical concepts and designs. Proven experience leading and mentoring engineers on complex SaaS initiatives.Strong understanding of challenges related to scalability, latency etc, and of potential optimizations for both the application and database (Oracle) tiers.Experience building microservices using Java and related frameworks such as Spring Boot, Micronaut, Helidon etc.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, observability and related best practices.Experience developing web UI using Angular, Knockout, JET or similar JavaScript frameworks.Experience with Public Cloud SaaS or PaaS Services (AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
Preferred QualificationsExperience with healthcare (good to have)Exposure in building and deploying applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or any cloud (good to have)
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
