Role OverviewAs a seasoned Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and development of our scalable backend applications.Key Responsibilities:Design and Develop Scalable Applications: You will design, develop, and maintain large-scale backend applications and services that meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and scalability.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with frontend developers, project managers, and other teams to deliver high-quality applications that exceed expectations.Ensure Application Security: Take ownership of ensuring application security, compliance, and adherence to best practices throughout the development lifecycle.Develop Data Storage Solutions: Design and implement efficient data storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases, to support the growth and success of our applications.Mentor Junior Developers: Mentor, support, and train junior backend developers to help them grow professionally and contribute to the team's success.Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with modern backend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to drive innovation and excellence.Implement DevOps Pipelines: Implement and maintain DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of our applications.Uphold Coding Standards: Uphold coding standards, perform code reviews, and promote best engineering practices throughout the team.Additional Responsibilities (as needed):Manage Teams: Manage and coordinate a team of backend developers to achieve shared goals and objectives.Support Architectural Design: Support architectural design and high-level technical decision-making to shape the direction of our backend applications.Participate in Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning and roadmap development to align our technology strategy with business objectives.Represent the Engineering Department: Represent the engineering department in communication with clients, stakeholders, and leadership.
