Welcome to The Freethinking School, a chain of authentic Montessori Schools across Bangalore, Kochi and Hyderabad.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, TDS, GST, and tax compliance.
- Prepare and review financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the general ledger.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial documents and reports.
- Provide support to senior management on strategic planning initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for maintaining accuracy in financial records.
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and Goods & Services Tax (GST).
- Proficiency in Tally ERP software is essential; knowledge of other accounting software an added advantage.
- 1-2 years of experience in accountancy or related field (book keeping).
