This position requires a research-oriented mindset with the ability to build first-in-class products by translating cutting-edge research into innovative production solutions.If you enjoy solving deep technical problems and pushing innovation—this role is for you.What You’ll Work OnBuild and deploy production-grade NLP systems using transformer modelsImplement RAG pipelines, embeddings, semantic searchManage and optimize bare-metal GPU servers, CUDA, and multi-GPU setupsDesign and optimize large-scale SQL pipelinesDeploy and scale models via TorchServe/FastAPI/BentoMLDrive MLOps: MLflow, W&B, monitoring, automated retrainingLead ML architecture, research-to-production pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration Required Skills5+ years in ML/Data Science (with 3+ years in latest role)Proven ML production deployment experienceAdvanced SQL (tuning, indexing, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift)Strong Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, HuggingFaceExperience with LangChain/LlamaIndex, LoRA/QLoRA, vector DBs (Pinecone/FAISS)Linux admin, GPU cluster management, distributed trainingDocker, Kubernetes, CI/CDCloud: AWS/GCP/Azure + hybrid infrastructureWhat You BringResearch-driven mindsetStrong debugging, analytical & problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and own complex projectsClear communication with technical and non-technical teamsExperience moving models from research → productionUp-to-date knowledge of modern ML and NLP advancementsProgramming & ML FrameworksPython (advanced level, production-grade code)PyTorch or TensorFlowHuggingFace Transformersscikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBMInfrastructure & DevOpsLinux system administrationBare metal server managementGPU cluster setup and configurationCUDA/cuDNN installation and driver managementMulti-GPU distributed training setupDocker and KubernetesCI/CD pipelines for ML workflowsProduction DeploymentModel serving: TensorFlow Serving, TorchServe, FastAPI, BentoMLMLOps: MLflow, Weights & Biases, KubeflowModel monitoring and A/B testingLatency optimization and inference scalingCloud & Data EngineeringAWS, GCP, or AzureApache Spark, Airflow/PrefectUnderstanding of on-premise and cloud hybrid architecturesLeadership & Team ImpactLead end-to-end ML initiativesDefine technical architectureMentor junior ML engineers and data scientistsSupport hiring, code quality, and documentation standardsHow to ApplySend your resume to lisa.kapadia@nuvo.aiOr apply directly on LinkedIn.
