Job OpportunityThe primary objective of this project is to create assessment items aligned to state standards and assessments across multiple jurisdictions. The subject matter expert will review content alignment, ensuring quality and accuracy for English Language Arts (ELA).This project involves developing assessment questions in accordance with state test blueprints for ELA grades 3-8 and English I.The assessment will feature passages and questions tailored to each jurisdiction and grade level.The SME will collaborate with the Learning Design team to develop and review AI-generated multiple-choice and non-multiple-choice questions for each grade level and jurisdiction.Evaluation criteria:Accuracy and clarity of content;Pedagogical relevance and rigor;Alignment to standards and/or Unpacked Standards Measurable Objectives (USMOs);Adherence to client guidelines;Alignment to Common Core standards for ELA specific to the grade and USMOs.Key Responsibilities:Review and validate AI-generated questions;Create assessment items, including sources or creating passages as necessary;Collaborate with the Learning Design team to ensure feedback is correctly applied.Requirements:A thorough understanding of state standards and assessments is essential for success in this role.Benefits:This opportunity offers a chance to work on a high-profile project, contributing to the development of educational materials that will impact student learning outcomes.What We Offer:A collaborative and dynamic work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
