Director Enterprise Application

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director – Enterprise Applications to lead the enterprise-wide applications across Finance, HR, Engineering and Custom Platforms. This leadership role demands expertise in Oracle Financial Systems, HR Management Systems, and modern web and mobile application development. The ideal candidate will be strategic thinker, people leader, and technology champion who can bridge business needs with scalable and secure technology solutions.

You are responsible for:

● Strategic Leadership:

o Define and execute the enterprise applications strategy in alignment with business goals.

● Oracle Financial Systems Leadership:

o Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Oracle Financial Systems including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, Procurement, and Projects.

o Lead Oracle ERP transformation initiatives including cloud migration, integration, and automation.

o Ensure strong internal controls, financial governance, and compliance with audit standards (SOX, statutory, regulatory).

● HR Systems Oversight:

o Oversee HR platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors used for Core HR, Talent, and Performance.

o Partner with HR and People Operations to drive process efficiency, employee experience, and data-driven decision-making.

o Ensure secure handling of PII data and compliance with global labor and data privacy regulations.

● Web and Mobile Application Development:

o Lead the development of custom web and mobile applications to serve internal users, business partners, and customers.

o Ensure platforms are built with modern frameworks (React, Angular, Flutter, etc.), secure architectures, and scalable APIs.

o Promote UX best practices, responsive design, accessibility standards, and continuous integration & deployment.

● Strategic Planning & Governance:

o Define enterprise application roadmap and technology strategy in line with business priorities.

o Establish governance, change management, and vendor management practices across all application platforms.

o Drive portfolio planning, budgeting, and capacity management for all enterprise application programs.

● Stakeholder & Team Leadership:

o Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, Operations, and Compliance stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver value.

o Build and mentor a high-performing team of functional analysts, developers, architects, and project managers.

o Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and system integrators to ensure delivery, security, and ROI.

You should have:

● Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

● 15+ years of IT experience with 10+ years in managing enterprise applications.

● Strong domain knowledge and delivery experience in Oracle Financials (Cloud or EBS).

● Proven experience in implementing or managing HRMS platforms (SuccessFactors, Workday, etc.).

● Strong track record in web and mobile application development, preferably in enterprise or customer-facing environments.

● Deep understanding of system integration, APIs, middleware, and DevOps practices.

● Demonstrated success in leading large, cross-functional teams and driving digital transformation initiatives.
