IT Infrastructure SpecialistAbout the Role:This is a remote opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless access and support for employees across various platforms.Main Responsibilities:To provide end-to-end technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, ensuring minimum downtime and maximum productivity.Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning laptops, accounts, and tools.Maintain accurate documentation for IT support procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.Oversee user account management and permissions across multiple tools and platforms, including Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).Regularly monitor system access and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data, in line with HIPAA and SOC2 guidelines.Set up and manage VPNs, endpoint security, and multi-factor authentication systems.Implement and maintain best practices for IT security to safeguard against potential threats.Audit access controls, patches, and updates regularly to prevent vulnerabilities.Respond promptly to IT security incidents and escalate as necessary.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support remote deployments and field devices when required.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.At least 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar roles.Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.Experience with Google Workspace / Office 365 administration.Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security best practices.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.Able to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively across time zones.
