Cloud Data Engineer PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to fill the role of Cloud Data Engineer. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cloud-based data engineering solutions, including Microsoft Azure data services.The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using best practices. They should be able to work with architects, business analysts, and data scientists to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure data products that enable advanced analytics.Main Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end data engineering projects using Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and ADLS Gen2.Build and optimize lakehouse and warehouse with best practices.Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.The successful candidate should have strong experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipeline, and performance tuning. Additionally, they should be proficient in Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Fabric, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, Azure Event Hub) and other relevant tools and technologies.Requirements:Key Skills: Cloud & Data Platforms: Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Fabric, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, Azure Event Hub)Programming Languages: PySpark, Scala, C#, SQLDatabases: SQL Server, Oracle, SnowflakeVersion Control: GitHub, Azure DevOpsOther Tools: MS Office Suite, Lucidchart, Draw.ioBonus Points:Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900), Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900), Microsoft Certified: Azure Fabric Associate (DP-600)Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects, proven leadership and mentoring capabilities, experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management.
