As a Solix Archival Specialist/Devloper , you will be responsible for implementing and managing Solix’s enterprise data archiving solutions. The role focuses on ensuring data retention, compliance, and performance optimization by archiving data from enterprise applications. You will collaborate with IT, business teams, and data architects to design and implement archival strategies that meet regulatory, operational, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement Data Archiving Solutions: Design, configure, and deploy Solix enterprise data archival solutions across databases and applications.

Archiving Strategy Development: Work with stakeholders to identify data retention needs, define archival policies, and implement best practices for data lifecycle management.

Data Migration and Extraction: Oversee the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of legacy data into the Solix archiving solution, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that archived data complies with relevant legal and regulatory requirements for data retention and deletion.

Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance of systems with archived data and optimize loading techniques or configurations.

Data Governance and Management: Ensure proper tagging and metadata management of archived data to support effective search, retrieval, and compliance reporting.

Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with IT, database administrators, and application teams to integrate Solix archiving with enterprise systems and address any issues.

Monitoring and Reporting: Provide regular reporting on archival status, performance, and storage savings. Monitor archival operations for any errors or failures.

Maintenance and Upgrades: Maintain and upgrade Solix archival solutions, ensuring up-to-date software versions, patches, and configurations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with Solix Archiving Solutions: Hands-on experience in implementing Solix for enterprise data archiving.

Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Hive, with experience in data archiving or lifecycle management.

Data Governance Knowledge: Familiarity with data retention policies, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks.

ETL Expertise: Experience with data migration tools, ETL processes, and integration with Solix or similar archival systems.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues related to data archiving and retrieval.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with scripting languages and tools for automation and data processing
