We are looking for a Certified GCP Data Engineer who is proficient in leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to build and manage robust data pipelines. This is a fully remote role, where you will work on implementing data solutions, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and delivering data insights to support business needs.
Key Responsibilities :
Cloud Scheduler & Cloud Functions : Design and manage automated scheduling of queries and workflows using Cloud Scheduler , Cloud Run , and Cloud Functions .
BigQuery & Dataproc : Implement scalable data pipelines using BigQuery and Dataproc (with PySpark) for efficient data processing and analysis.
Cloud Composer : Utilize Cloud Composer to orchestrate data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and job scheduling.
Data Modelling & Transformation : Leverage dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation, modeling, and analytics.
Infrastructure as Code : Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform to ensure scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
Reporting & Visualization : Use Power BI for developing data reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
Qualifications :
Certification :
Mandatory: Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification .
Technical Skills :
Proven experience with GCP services : Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Dataproc (PySpark), Cloud Composer.
Hands-on expertise in dbt for data modeling and transformation.
Strong experience in deploying cloud infrastructure using Terraform .
Proficiency in using Power BI for reporting and visualization.
Nice to Have :
Prior exposure to Azure and related services (not mandatory).
Personal Attributes :
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous learning.
