An advanced degree is highly valued. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Science, as well as 2+ years in financial services, is essential. You should have experience building and implementing risk strategies in production environments, along with a deep understanding of segmentation techniques such as decision trees. Proficiency in Python and SQL is mandatory, while practical experience with Spark and statistical modeling techniques is beneficial. Additionally, a technical grasp of algorithm complexity, probability, and statistics is crucial. Self-motivation, research skills, and the ability to work independently are necessary qualities.
