Job DescriptionThe Principal Frontend Engineer will spearhead the Web Fabric initiative, defining architecture, scaling teams, and ensuring low-latency, high-quality user experiences across all products. This leader oversees 10+ engineers and managers, aligning with Data Engineering and Machine Learning/ API teams to deliver end-to-end reliability and performance.Key Responsibilities:Develop and refine frontend architecture and component strategy.Manage 10+ frontend engineers and managers to deliver high-velocity React/ Next.js applications.Produce architecture documents, design specifications, and implementation plans for executive review.Align architecture and delivery roadmaps with Data, ML, and API teams.Establish frontend engineering best practices for continuous integration/continuous deployment, testing, observability, and release automation.Define and track key performance indicators for velocity, user experience performance, and developer productivity.Must Have Qualifications:6+ years of engineering experience (2+ in leadership managing 10+ engineers).Deep expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript or similar modern frameworks.Demonstrated success in building and operating large-scale frontend platforms.Strong foundation in CI/CD automation and frontend observability.Proven ability to write architecture documents and run design reviews.Nice to Have Qualifications:Design-system implementation, server-side rendering/ static site generation optimization, real-user measurement analytics.Experience with real-time frontends (websockets, live data).Familiarity with Vercel, CloudFront, and modern deployment pipelines.
