Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java: Strong hands-on experience with Java, including Java 8+ and experience in frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, etc.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both Japanese and English, both written and spoken. Ability to communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking clients and teams.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a development team, providing guidance and mentoring junior developers.
  • Software Development Experience: 5+ years of experience in Java development with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Technical Tools and Frameworks: Familiarity with development tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit) and Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex development issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Japanese IT Environment: Prior experience working with Japanese teams or understanding Japanese business culture is a plus.
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
  • Database Knowledge: Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Java certifications, AWS, or Scrum certifications) are a plus.
