Database Specialist PositionWe are seeking a skilled Database Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with relational database concepts and data modelling.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain database queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.Analyse and understand existing data models and database schemas.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.Translate business requirements into efficient database code that accurately reflects business logic.Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented database code.Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy of database implementations.Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.Debug and optimise database queries for performance improvement.Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.Support testing activities and resolve data-related issues.Required Skills and Qualifications:4-5 years of hands-on database development experience.Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling.Ability to read and interpret complex data models and ERDs.Experience translating business requirements into database logic.Solid understanding of joins, subqueries, window functions, and advanced SQL concepts.Experience with data transformation and aggregation techniques.Benefits:Full-time dedication (40 hours/week).Contractor position (no medical/paid leave).REQUIRED: 4-hour overlap with PST (Pacific Standard Time).
