They manage the work of turning their ideas into reality. They are involved in the design, documentation, and execution of projects. The role includes : 1.      Working to a brief 2.      Assist / guide the team in 3D conceptualization 3.      Researching and drawing up layouts, and services 4.      Working with project teams to provide project administration and design development 5.      Developing detailed designs, GFC drawings, documentation, 6.      Researching and selection of materials 7.Producing conceptual sketches and mood boards 8.      Interface with consultants, contractors, and internal teams 9.      Ability to mentor juniors in the team 10.  Sound Knowledge in MEP services An interior designer must have : 1.      Experience in Corporate / commercial interior design 2.      Creativity and imagination – with an eye for design, including color 3.      BIM & Google Sketchup skills 4.      The ability to visualize concepts and handle projects from conception to completion 5.      Strong design skills with the ability to prepare detailed working drawings, designs, and plans 6.      An extensive understanding of a wide range of design principles and approaches that includes knowledge of current industry trends 7.      Sound documentation, field observation, graphic design and visualization skills 8.      Thorough knowledge of MS Office 9.      Strong documentation skills 10.  High proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Sketchup 11.  Excellent communication and presentation skills 12.  Strong interpersonal and team skills 13.  Excellent spatial planning and infrastructure design skills 14.  Interior designers are expected to keep up to date with new trends and products by attending trade fairs and exhibitions. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited school. Experience: 5-8 years (Corporate & Commercial)
