This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. Location: 100% Remote for Turkey, LATAM and IndiaEssential Functions:Manage and monitor a non-performing real estate collateralized commercial loan portfolio, including REO, toward most effective and efficient resolutionConduct proactive and effective portfolio management in accordance with established performance standards Monitor and manage commercial litigation/bankruptcy/foreclosure activities, functions and deadlinesDirect/monitor/liaise with in-house and outside attorneys, collection agencies and other vendors that support the loss mitigation effortInteract with customers and their counselNegotiate and prepare settlement agreementsPrepare bidding instructionsMonitor loss mitigation workout performance and loss severity trendsImplement and communicate loss mitigation decisionsMaintain delinquency and loss mitigation reporting, including trend analysis and assessmentConduct comprehensive analysis of debtors' financial position, credit status, personal background, and historical payment performanceFacilitate negotiation and conflict resolutionPerform extensive quarterly review of portfolio being managed to confirm or reassess recovery estimatesMonitor related expenses (taxes, maintenance, utilities, fees, etc.) and timely propose protective advancesAssist in budget preparation for the Asset Resolution Department Other projects and duties as assignedRequirementsLaw degree (from a nationally accredited U.S. law school is a big plus)Experience working in commercial litigation/bankruptcy/foreclosure/real estate loss mitigationDemonstrated ability to successfully manage non-performing loan pools and REOLitigation experience and familiarity with litigation management toolsStrong organization, decision-making and negotiation skillsStrong knowledge of applicable U.S. legal/regulatory guidelines, including bankruptcy and foreclosure (Experience working for a US company is a must)Demonstrated analytical and reasoning skills, and innovative approach to solving both practical and theoretical problemsProficiency in all Microsoft Office applicationsStrong work ethic with ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environmentYou must have your own laptop or desktop to use (the company does not supply equipment)Excellent English fluency and communication skills, both written and verbalBenefitsCONTRACT/CONSULTANCY POSITIONPTO AvailableUSD salary 1500100% Work from home
