Your RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Kubernetes Specialist to lead the design and implementation of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for enterprise-grade workloads. Utilize AKS features to enhance scalability and reliability, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.The ideal candidate will have experience in leading AKS cluster upgrades in both Non-Production and Production environments, guaranteeing zero/minimal downtime.As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting and executing application migration strategies into AKS containers, leveraging your expertise in container orchestration and Kubernetes ecosystem tools.You will develop and enforce best practices for AKS cluster security, scalability, and performance optimization, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Additionally, you will troubleshoot AKS certificate issues, networking challenges, and cluster connectivity problems, utilizing debugging tools to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.In collaboration with DevOps teams, you will integrate AKS with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, streamlining our development process.You will define and maintain AKS governance policies, including RBAC, secrets management, and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.As a technical leader, you will provide guidance on container orchestration and Kubernetes ecosystem tools, mentoring junior team members and driving business growth.Lastly, you will monitor and optimize AKS cluster health, resource utilization, and cost efficiency, making data-driven decisions to improve our overall performance.Your ProfileA strong background in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) architecture and development is essential for this role.Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts and tools is required, as well as hands-on experience with AKS cluster upgrades and application migrations to containerized environments.Expertise in troubleshooting AKS certificate issues and network-related problems is highly valued, as well as familiarity with Azure networking, security, and monitoring tools for AKS environments.
