Application Security Specialist RoleWe are seeking a skilled Application Security Specialist to support our cloud and on-prem applications, ensuring a holistic vulnerability management approach.The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams, product managers, and third-party groups to ensure the security of our products.Key Responsibilities:Conduct application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and dynamic testing.Develop and implement application security vulnerability management strategies.Facilitate the preparation of security releases and collaborate with product and development teams.Support the creation of security training programs and develop automated security testing to validate secure coding best practices.Integrate dynamic and static vulnerability scanning tools and leverage open source software scanning tools.Requirements:Expertise in common security libraries and controls.Strong development or scripting experience.Familiarity with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools.Understanding of network and web protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS).Excellent communication skills with developers.Ability to identify security issues through code review.
